Alexandra Park Laneway coLab

The Laneway Project is launching a new Laneway coLab in Alexandra Park, in partnership with Friends of Alexandra Park and with funding through Section 37 community benefits supported by Councillor Ausma Malik’s office.

Starting in late 2026, we’ll work with local residents to explore how the laneway between Denison Ave and Ryerson Ave can become a greener, more welcoming and connected community space. Through community engagement, neighbours will help shape the improvements they’d like to see — which could include greenery, public art, lighting, placemaking and other interventions.

Community engagement will begin in late 2026, with design and implementation through 2027, and the project will be completed by fall 2027.
